IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed,
including the following:
1. Read all instructions before operating.
2. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use only handles or knobs.
3. Remove all packaging plastics and other materials from unit before operating.
4. Wash all removable accessories before using for the first time.
5. To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plug or appliance itself
in water or other liquids.
6. The appliance is not for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance.
7. The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or a
separate remote-control system.
8. This appliance is intended to be used in a household and similar environments
such as:
- Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other work environments
- Farm houses
- By clients in hotels, motels and other residential environments
9. Close supervision is necessary when appliance is used by or near children.
10. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow it to cool before
putting on or taking off the parts.
11. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord, plug or after the appliance
has been broken down or damaged in any way. Return the device to the nearest
authorized service centre for examination, repair or adjustment.
12. The use of attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may
cause injury.
13. Do not use outdoors.
14. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the table or counter or come into
contact with hot surfaces.
15. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
