The 7890 is the Facepiece Plug. Replace the plugs when they are
damaged. To remove them:
a. If the facepiece is set up for the GVP-1 Powered Air Purifying
Respirator (PAPR), unscrew the plugs from either side of the
facepiece.
b. If the facepiece is set up for the Dual Airline Supplied Air System
remove the plug from the center port.

The 701 is the Bayonet Cartridge Adapter. Replace the adapter
whenever it becomes damaged or the lugs become worn. If the
facepiece is set up for use with the Dual Airline Supplied Air Respirator,
remove the cartridge adapters. To remove them:
a. Turn the adapters counter clockwise.
b. The 6895 is the Cartridge Adapter Gasket. Replace the gasket
when it is distorted, does not stay seated or is damaged.

The 7887 Inhalation Valve Gasket. Replace the gasket when it is
distorted, does not stay seated or is damaged. To remove it:
a. Place a finger under the gasket and pull up.

The 7999 is the Air Inlet Gasket. Replace the gasket when it is
distorted, does not stay seated or is damaged. To remove it:
a. Place a finger under the gasket and pull up.
9)
The 7918 is the Exhalation Valve Cover. Replace the cover when it is
damaged or the plastic is fatigued. To remove it:
a. Lift out on the two top prongs on either side of the center opening.
b. Slide the cover down.
10) The 7283 is the Exhalation Valve. Replace the Exhalation Valve when
it is warped, distorted, cut, split or if it will not seat properly. To remove
it:
a. Grasp the valve and pull it out by the edges.
