1 Description 1.1 General The microQDVP valve module is a compact accessory to the microDAQ range of acquisition devices. The module contains two solenoid valves designed to control the shuttle of Pressure System ™ ESP pressure scanners. There is also an electrical drive to allow a solenoid valve to control purge gas.

The microQDVP is controlled from one of three possible communications channels – RS232, Ethernet or CAN. If Ethernet or CAN are used then the microQDVP should be setup with an appropriate IP address and.or CANId and message protocol (in the same manner as the microDAQ).

The microQDVPSetup program is used in the same way as the main setup program for the microDAQ and is provided purely to set the necessary TCP and CAN parameters to enable a client program to connect with the microQDVP in run mode and issue user commands to control the unit accordingly.

6. Service and Calibration 6.1 Service There are no user serviceable parts inside the instruments.
