L’apparecchio deve essere installato come indicato nelle istruzioni. • Non usare questa stufa da esterno in ambienti chiusi. Pericolo di danni e infortunio. • Questa stufa da esterno non è progettata per essere installata su veicoli a scopo ricreativo e/o imbarcazioni. L’installazione e le riparazioni devono essere effettuate da personale qualificato. • Un’installazione o regolazioni scorrette ed eventuali alterazioni del prodotto possono causare danni e infortuni. • Non tentare in alcun modo di alterare l’apparecchio. • Non sostituire il regolatore con un ricambio diverso da quello raccomandato dal produttore. • Quando la stufa è in funzione, non spostarla. • Prima di spostare la stufa, chiudere la valvola della bombola di gas o il regolatore. • In caso di forte vento, prestare particolare attenzione all’apparecchio, facendo in modo che non si inclini.
Page 6 MANUALE D’USO - USER MANUAL - SA9500 • Se le griglie o altre protezioni vengono rimosse per motivi di manutenzione, devono essere riposizionate prima che la stufa venga rimessa in funzione. Adulti e bambini devono mantenersi lontani dalle superfici che raggiungono temperature elevate, onde evitare ustioni e l’incendio di capi di abbigliamento. • Sorvegliare attentamente i bambini quando si trovano nelle vicinanze della stufa. • Non appendere alla stufa indumenti o altri materiali infiammabili e non appoggiarli sopra la stufa o nelle sue vicinanze. • La sostituzione della bombola di gas deve avvenire in un luogo ben ventilato, lontano da fonti di innesco (candele, sigarette e altri apparecchi che producono fiamme). • Non ostruire i fori per la ventilazione del vano della bombola. • In caso di fughe di gas, l’apparecchio non deve essere usato o, se è acceso, il regolatore deve essere chiuso immediatamente e l’apparecchio ispezionato accuratamente prima di essere rimesso in funzione.

Assicurarsi sempre che sia garantita un’adeguata ventilazione. • Mantenere sempre una distanza adeguata da materiali infiammabili privi di protezione, cioè di almeno 120 cm sopra e sui lati. • Posizionare la stufa su una superficie piana e stabile. • Non mettere in funzione per nessun motivo la stufa in atmosfera esplosiva, ad esempio in aree in cui vengono conservati benzina o altri liquidi infiammabili. Page 8 MANUALE D’USO - USER MANUAL - SA9500 TEST DI RILEVAMENTO FUGHE DI GAS Sui collegamenti della stufa vengono effettuati test per il rilevamento di eventuali fughe di gas prima dell’uscita dalla fabbrica. Al momento dell’installazione, è necessario effettuare un controllo completo per escludere la presenza di fughe di gas, poiché durante il trasporto la stufa potrebbe essere stata maneggiata in modo scorretto. ATTENZIONE Test di rilevamento fughe di gas: durante lo svolgimento del test, non fumare e rimuovere qualunque fonte di innesco. Il controllo deve essere effettuato con una bombola di gas piena. Il test deve avvenire prima del primo utilizzo, annualmente e ogni volta che i componenti che entrano in contatto con il gas vengono sostituiti o subiscono interventi di manutenzione.
Page 9 MANUALE D’USO - USER MANUAL - SA9500 LA PRESENZA DI ODORE DI GAS INDICA CHE SERVE AGIRE IMMEDIATAMENTE! • Non compiere azioni che potrebbero innescare l’accensione del gas. Non accendere alcun interruttore di elettricità. Non tirare cavi di alimentazione o prolunghe. Non accendere fiammiferi o altre fonti di innesco. Non usare telefoni. • Far uscire immediatamente tutti i presenti dalla zona interessata dalla fuga di gas e rivolgersi al fornitore di gas. • Il propano è più pesante dell’aria e potrebbe stabilizzarsi verso il basso. Quando si ha ragione di sospettare una fuga di gas, non sostare in ambienti che si trovano in basso. • Chiedere ai propri vicini di usare il loro telefono e contattare il fornitore di gas e i Vigili del Fuoco.

MANUALE D’USO - USER MANUAL - SA9500 ACCENSIONE 1. Assicurarsi che la manopola nera sia su “OFF”. 2. Collegare il regolatore a una bombola di gas compatibile. 3. Assicurarsi che la batteria sia stata inserita nel tasto rosso di accensione. 4. Premere la manopola e contemporaneamente ruotarla in senso antiorario fino alla posizione “PILOT”, tenendola premuta per 60 secondi. 5. Tenendo premuta la manopola nera, premere più volte il tasto di accensione fino a quando appare la fiamma pilota. 6. Quando la fiamma pilota blu rimane accesa in modo continuativo, rilasciare lentamente la manopola nera.

NON TENTARE DI RIPARARE LA STUFA AUTONOMAMENTE. La manutenzione periodica deve essere effettuata a intervalli di al massimo 6 mesi, oppure ogni volta che si verifica un guasto, ad esempio anomalie nella fiamma o scolorimento del bruciatore, che di solito sono un segnale di un’ostruzione nell’alimentazione di gas o nelle aperture del bruciatore. Extinguish any open flame. 3. If the smell continues immediately call your gas supplier or your fire department. 4.Do not store or use flammable liquids in the vicinity of this heater. 5. Any gas cylinders not connected for use shall not be stored in the vicinity of this heater. WARNING For use outdoors or in areas that have ample ventilation. An amply ventilated area must have a minimum of 25 % of the surface area open. The surface area is the sum of the walls surface.

The appliance must be installed in accordance with the instructions. • Do not use this patio heater indoors, as it may cause personal injury or property damage. • This outdoor heater is not intended to be installed on recreational vehicles and/or boats. Installation and repair should be done by a qualified service person. • Improper installation, adjustment, alteration can cause personal injury or property damage. • Do not attempt to alter the unit in any manner. • Never replace or substitute the regulator with any regulator other than the factory-suggested replacement. • Do not move the appliance when in operation. • Shut off the valve at the gas cylinder or the regulator before moving the appliance. • In case of violent wind particular attention must be taken against tilting of the appliance. • Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable vapors or liquids in the heater unit. • The whole gas system, hose, regulator, pilot or burner should be inspected for leaks or damage before use, and at least annually by a qualified service person. • All leak tests should be done with a soap solution. Never use an open flame to check for leaks. Do not use the heater until all connections have been leak tested. • Turn off the gas valve immediately if smell of gas is detected. Page 22 MANUALE D’USO - USER MANUAL - SA9500 • Children should be carefully supervised when they are in the area of the heater. • Clothing or other flammable materials should not be hung on the heater or placed on or near the heater. • The gas cylinder should only be changed in a ventilated area, away from sources of ignition (candles, cigarettes, and other flame producing appliances) • Do not obstruct the ventilation holes of the cylinder housing. • In the event of gas leak, the appliance shall not be used or if alight, the gas regulator should be turned off immediately and the appliance should be inspected thoroughly before it is used again. • Inspect the gas hose before every use. If it shows signs of cracking, splitting or other deterioration it should be replaced with new hose of the same length and of the equivalent quality. • The use of this appliance in enclosed areas can be dangerous and is PROHIBITED. • For connection of hose and regulator, and connection of regulator and hose, please refer to the photos shown below.

MANUALE D’USO - USER MANUAL - SA9500 HEATER STAND AND LOCATION • The heater is primarily for outdoor use only.Always ensure that adequate fresh air ventilation is provided. • Always maintain proper clearance to non-protected combustible materials i.e. top 120 cm and sides 120 cm minimum. • Heater must be placed on level firm ground. • Never operate heater in an explosive atmosphere like in areas where gasoline or other flammable liquids or vapors are stored. 48″ 120cm GAS REQUIREMENTS • This heater is primarily designed to be used with propane gas. • Butane gas may also be used with the appropriate regulator however butane freezes at zero degrees so will not be ideal to be used during cold temperatures.

MANUALE D’USO - USER MANUAL - SA9500 LEAKAGE TEST Gas connections on the heater are leak tested at the factory prior to shipment. A complete gas leak check must be performed at the installation site due to possible mishandling during the transit process. WARNING Leak testing: Do not smoke while performing this test, and remove all sources of ignition. A full gas cylinder is required. This test must be done before initial use, annually and whenever any gas Components are replaced or serviced.

MANUALE D’USO - USER MANUAL - SA9500 FUEL GAS ODOR LP gas and natural gas have manmade odorants added specifically for detection of fuel gas leaks. If a gas leak occurs you should be able to smell the fuel gas. Since Propane (LP)is heavier than air you should smell for the gas odor low to the floor. ANY GAS ODOR IS YOUR SIGNAL TO GO INTO IMMEDIATE ACTION. • Do not take any action that could ignite the fuel gas. Do not operate any electrical switches. Do not pull any power supply or extension cords. Do not light matches or any other source of flame. Do not use your telephone. • Get everyone out of the building and away from the area immediately. • Propane (LP) gas is heavier than air and may settle in low area. When you have reason to suspect a propane leak, keep out of all low area. • Use your neighbor’s phone and call your fuel gas supplier and your fire department. Do not reenter the building or area. • Stay out of the building and away from the area until declared safe by the firefighters and your fuel gas supplier.

MANUALE D’USO - USER MANUAL - SA9500 TO TURN ON THE HEATER 1. Ensure the black knob is at the “OFF” position 2. Connect the gas regulator to a compatible gas cylinder 3. Ensure a battery has been inserted into the red ignition button. 4. Push and tum the control knob anticlockwise to the “PILOT” position and hold in for 60 seconds 5. While holding down the black knob, press the igniter button several times until the pilot flame lights. 6. Once the blue pilot light flame stays alight constantly, release the black knob slowly. 7. Turn the black knob to the desired temperature setting(High/low). Note: • If a new tank has just been connected, please allows at least on minute for the air in the gas pipeline to purge out through the pilot hole. • When lighting the pilot flame make sure that the variable control knob is continuously pressed down while pressing the igniter button. MANUALE D’USO - USER MANUAL - SA9500 SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE INFORMATION If the pilot heater fails to operate correctly, contact place of purchase or their authorised service agent for advice and service. DO NOT ATTEMPT REPAIRS YOURSELF. Periodic maintenance should performed at intervals not exceeding 6 months or when obvious faults exist, (i.e.) flame burning abnormality or burner discolouration. Flame bnormality or burner discolouration is generally a sign of gas supply blockage or blocked burner ports.

Per la garanzia è sufficiente lo scontrino di acquisto. Senza questo non sussiste il diritto né ad una sostituzione né ad una riparazione gratuita. Nel caso si ricorra alla garanzia, restituire al rivenditore l’apparecchio completo in ogni sua parte, nell’imballaggio originale unitamente allo scontrino. L a riparazione e/o la sostituzione di pezzi soggetti a logoramento (*), come anche operazioni di pulizia e manutenzione non rientrano nella garanzia e quindi sono a pagamento! L a garanzia perde la sua validità se l’apparecchio è sottomesso all’intervento di terzi. (*): cursori, ganci impastatori, cinghie di trasmissione, telecomandi di ricambio, spazzolini di ricambio, lame di seghe, manopole, guarnizioni, timer, filtri ecc.
