Customizing Your Notebook Computer
Selecting the Display Mode
Depending on the type of
computer display and projector
you are using, you may not be
able to display the computer's
LCD and external display
simultaneously.
If you are not connecting an
external computer display to
the external computer display
connector, you cannot display
CRT.
Selecting the Display Mode
Your notebook uses the S3 Savage® video controller. You can select which display is
used when the computer is connected to an external display.

Click the Start button, select Settings and then click Control Panel.
The Control Panel appears.

Double-click Display.
The Display Properties dialog box appears.

Click the Settings tab.

Click the Advanced button.
The Default Monitor and S3 Inc. Savage/IX Display Driver Properties dialog box
appears.

Click the S3DuoVue tab and select the type of display.
Consult the Online Help of the S3 Savage video controller for detailed information on
its features and properties.
