Replacing the Palm Rest

Procedure

1 Slide the headset port into the slot on the palm rest and align the screw
holes on the system board with the screw holes on the palm-rest
assembly.
2 Replace the screws that secure the system board to the palm-rest
assembly.

Post-requisites

1 Replace the status-light
2 Replace the power-adapter
3 Replace the display
4 Replace the speakers.
5 Replace the I/O
6 Replace the heat
7 Replace the base
8 Replace the keyboard.
9 Replace the fan.
10 Follow the procedure from step 3 to step 5 in replacing the

12 Replace the base
