Set Up AUX in cable Remove thumbscrew and remove back cover to access staff controls outlet Connect AC adaptor FM antenna to DC jack/wall outlet 12V 3.5A DC 12V 3.5A Remove pull tab from Backup Battery Compartment located on bottom of the unit.

Set Volume Level (high for large rooms, low for smaller rooms) DC 12V 3.5A Secure the attached Security Tether to a wall or other permanent surface. CAUTION: DO NOT attach to an AC outlet or cause it to become entangled with anything that can create a hazardous situation.

Press the time sync/set Button on the back of the unit to instantly set the time on the HDL99. time sync/set If time sync fails, please try again using different docking device. If time sync still does not work, set clock manually (please see Manual Clock Setting section).

FM Radio Press the mode button as needed to turn on unit and cycle to FM mode Press the + or - button to tune to a desired station (hold to search for next clear station) FM Presets Presets are numbered 1-3. Press any preset button to call up that preset.

Press and hold desired 3 SECS preset button (1-3) for 3 seconds to set current station to the selected preset button. Beep Follow steps above to set all 3 FM presets Extend FM antenna for best reception Once staff has completed setup, replace security cover on back of unit and tighten thumbscrew.
