To reset the Uniden WDECT 2355 phone to factory settings, follow these steps:

1) Press the /del key in standby mode to enter the menu.
2) Use /vol/ or /vol/ to navigate to System Reset.
3) Press select to enter the System Reset menu.
4) Choose the appropriate reset option:
- Replacing Base: Clears the base ID to deregister the handset and use it with another base.
- Base Clear: Clears the base ID, useful when changing the digital security code.
5) Confirm the selection and follow any on-screen instructions.
