Rinse aid
During the final rinse of the dishes, the rinse aid ensures that no drops form on the dishes
which could leave stains and streaks. The drying process is also improved as water
droplets can roll off the dishes. This dishwasher is designed to use liquid rinse aid.
Only use rinse aid that is specially designed for dishwashers. Never fill the dispenser
compartment with other substances (such as dishwasher detergent, etc.) as this would
damage the appliance.
Topping up the rinse aid
Regardless of the warning light on the control panel, the level of the rinse aid can
be judged by the colour of the optical level indicator next to the cap. The darker the
cap, the fuller the rinse aid compartment. The colour of the dark spot decreases with
increasing use of the rinse aid. The rinse aid compartment should always be at least ¼
full. The colour change is as follows:
