12. In the next dialogue box, select Search for the best driver for your device and then click Next.
13. In the next dialogue box, check Specify a location and leave all other check boxes unchecked.
14. Click on the Browse button and navigate to select the folders you created in step 2:
C:\Rover2Win98
(If you picked a different folder location in step 2 above, select the folder you specified instead.)
Click OK after selecting the folder and Next.
15. The next dialogue box should indicate Windows is ready to install the driver. Click Next.
16. Windows will copy driver files and build the driver information database. When this step is
complete, click Finish.
17. At this point, Windows may detect additional New Hardware and install additional drivers.
Allow these steps to complete (they require no interaction).
After driver installation, you will find a new drive letter representing Rover in your My Computer folder.
You can treat Rover like any other removable hard drive, copying files between it and your PC's hard
drive, rearranging folders, deleting and moving files, etc.
If you wish, after successful installation you can delete the Rover2Win98 folder and contents created in
step 2 above.

Disconnecting your Rover

Note: Please be careful to follow the correct procedure when disconnecting your Rover
from your PC. Simply unplugging the Rover from the USB connection without first
following the instructions below may result in damage to the Rover's internal memory
and/or loss of data.
1. If you have files located on your Rover open in any application, close them.
2. Click the Unplug or Eject Hardware button in the System Tray.
3. Select your Rover from the menu that appears.
4. After a moment, Windows will display a message indicating that your hardware can be safely
removed. You can then disconnect Rover.
You may also simply shut down your computer with Rover connected, and then disconnect it.
