6. Attach a lifting strap/chain to the front and rear tubes on the ROPS and attach to an over-head hoist.
7. Lift the ROPS over the machine and slowly lower down. Continue lowering the ROPS onto the four
fasteners removed earlier.
8. Bolt to platform using existing fasteners to Toro torque specifications.
9. Remove chain and lift strap.
10. Bolt the head-lights to the head-light mounting plate at front of ROPS with the factory hardware.
11. Bolt the tail-lights to the light mounting brackets with the factory hardware. Use provided zip ties to
secure flasher harness to rear panel of mesh.
12. Slide the fuel breather pipes into hole in C-post of ROPS. Slide the hydraulic breather pipe into hole
in the C-post of ROPS.
If ROPS has electrical options installed, proceed with the following step.
13. Take red power and black ground wires that are at the bottom of the left rear tube and route along
the mounting bracket and into the engine bay. Connect the black ground wire to the negative post on
the battery with the provided 1/4" loop. Shorten wire if necessary, then solder connector to wire.
Connect the red power wire to the positive post on the battery with the provided 1/4" loop. Shorten
wire if necessary, then solder connector to wire. There is fuse protection for electric options located
behind the switch plate in the ROPS.
NOTE:
If ROPS is equipped with a Golf Ball Protection Package, it may be necessary to adjust the door
latch after installation is complete. The striker pin, door latch, and striker mounting plate may need to
be loosened and adjusted slightly after install due to the ROPS frame flexing slightly during ROPS install.
