Maintenance regulations

Electrofusion machines that are not maintained, or are not profes-
sionally maintained, can cause serious accidents. It is essential to
observe the maintenance intervals and maintenance work outlined
below.

Maintenance work
• Visually inspect the electrofusion
machine for externally visible defects and
damage that could affect safety. Do not
operate a damaged electrofusion
machine.
• Carry out a visual inspection to check the
mains cable for externally visible defects
and damage that could affect safety.
Have a damaged mains cable replaced
by the manufacturer, its customer service
team or a similarly qualified person.
• Clean the casing of the electrofusion
machine with a damp cloth.
