    Intended Use The Non Contact Infrared Body Thermometer is intended to be used by consumers in a home-use environment (such as home settings) or places of business as an employee screening tool excluding any healthcare facilities. Only the body mode was reviewed and certified by manufacturer’s notified body. Safety Information This device may only be used for the purposes described in these instructions.

  • Page 6 Overview Description of Non Contact Infrared Body Thermometer • Device principle and introduction: The Non Contact Infrared Body Thermometer is a hand-held, reusable, battery operated device, which can measure human body temperature using the forehead as the measurement site (the skin temperature on one’s forehead.) The operating principle is based on Infrared (IR) Sensor technology.

    Replacing the Battery 1. Open and release battery cover following indicator on the surface of battery cover. Before changing the battery be sure the system is powered off. 2.
