Using your blender
Using your blender - first time
1 Make sure that the accessories are complete and the blender is not
damaged.
2 Pour a little water into the jar and mix according to the steps below
one or two times, then pour out.
3 Clean the jar and the jar lid thoroughly with warm water.
Using your blender - daily use
1 Place the blender base on a sturdy, flat surface and make sure that the
power cord is unplugged.
2 Place the jar on a flat surface with the open end facing up.
3 Fill the jar with your favorite ingredients. Be sure not to fill past the
20 oz. (600 ml) mark.
4 Secure the blade assembly to the jar by turning it clockwise.
5 Turn the jar over and insert it into the blender base. Line up the arrows
on the blade assembly and the blender base, then turn the assembly
clockwise to lock them together.
6 Plug in the power cord. The blender turns on automatically.
7 When blended to your taste, turn the blade assembly
counterclockwise to remove it from the blender base. The blender
stops automatically.
8 Unplug the power cord.
9 Turn the jar over and remove the blade by turning it counterclockwise.
10 Put the lid on the jar.
Warning
The blade is sharp, handle it carefully.
Note
• For optimal performance, place the ingredients into the jar
in the following order:
• liquids
• fresh ingredients
• frozen fruit
• yogurt and ice cream
Note
Do not run the blender for more than 30 seconds at a time.
