Scroll to the correct word and press
Adding a Word to the XT9 Database
If a word you want to enter is not displayed in an XT9
word choice list when you are using XT9 Smart Input,
add it to the database.

While you are in

Enter a word and press
word will appear as an option the next time you
scroll through options during XT9 Smart Input.

ABC Mode

In Abc mode, you can enter alphabetic characters
associated with each key.
By default, the first letter of a sentence is capitalized and
the following letters are lowercased. To switch between
lowercase and uppercase, press the

Capitalization Options
The initial letters of words can be either uppercase or

you can make all the letters in a word uppercase. The
lower right corner of the screen shows the shift mode
you are currently using.
From a text entry screen, press

If you change the letter capitalization in XT9 mode, the
indicator will change to
XT9WORD
(Unshifted) to make all letters in a word
