5. Using/maintaining your camera
a. Before using your waterproof case underwater, enable Waterproof Case mode on your
camera Se ings screen and adjust your camera's white balance se ing, by switching this
to underwater mode.
b. Before using the waterproof case, please check that the inside of the case is clean and dry.
Use a hairdryer to dry the case and a so cloth to wipe it clean of dust. Otherwise, the case
will fog up very quickly. A er installing the camera in the waterproof case, please check that
the main waterproof ring is clean, and free of dust and debris. Once the outer and rear covers
of the waterproof case are in their closed positions, check that the main waterproof ring is
evenly clamped in position, with no points where it extrudes. Finally, close the latch in place.
c. A er using the waterproof case in the sea or by the seaside, please use fresh water to
thoroughly wash away any salt or sand, then dry using a so cloth. Use a so , dry cloth to
wipe clean the inside of the waterproof case; never rinse with water. Please do this every
time you use the waterproof case, before and a er use. When using the waterproof case,
