Access & Removal

Auto Drawer Gear Removal:

NOTE: This procedure requires a 14" long or greater
phillips screwdriver.
DISCONNECT ELECTRICAL SUPPLY BEFORE
ATTEMPTING THIS PROCEDURE.
DANGEROUS HIGH VOLTAGE CAN BE PRESENT -
CAREFULLY READ AND FOLLOW ALL WARNINGS AT
THE BEGINNING OF THIS SECTION. (PAGE 4-2)
1)
Drawer Microwave must be removed from its
installation. See Drawer Microwave Disassembly
(page 4-6).
2)
Only attempt this procedure after unit has been made
safe by unplugging cord from supply receptacle
and discharging High Voltage Capacitor (See
WARNINGS).
NOTE: Auto Drawer Gear is mounted on right side of
unit just below the inner cavity.
3)
Remove the (4) screws holding the auto drawer gear
in place. (Figure 4-13)
4)
Disengage (pull) Auto Drawer Gear from rack gear
and when you have access, disconnect the harness
from the motor.
NOTE: For Installation of Drawer Gear, take care that
gear teeth are set into the rack gear correctly.

Actuator Removal/Adjustment:

1)
Drawer Microwave must be removed from its
installation. See Drawer Microwave Disassembly
(page 4-6).
2)
Only attempt this procedure after unit has been made
safe by unplugging cord from supply receptacle
and discharging High Voltage Capacitor (See
WARNINGS).
3)
Locate either right or left actuator and remove (2)
screws holding actuator to door support angles.
(Figure 4-14)
4)
Replace with new actuator.
Adjustment:
Adjust each actuator to fully depress ("0" gap) switch
lever switches on left and right side. (Figure 4-14)
NOTE: If adjustment is not correct, it will effect the
performance of the Auto Drawer.
NOTE: PLEASE SEE "AFTER SERVICING" (Page 4-6)
WHEN REPAIR COMPLETE.
