Problem
Automatic Heat Up does not oper‐
ate.
The heat setting changes between
two levels.
The sensor fields become hot.
There is no sound when you touch
the panel sensor fields.
The flexible induction cooking area
does not heat up the cookware.

Possible cause
The zone is hot.
The highest heat setting is set.
Power management operates.
The cookware is too large or you put
it too near to the controls.
The sounds are deactivated.
The cookware is in a wrong position

The diameter of the bottom of the
cookware is incorrect for the activa‐
ted function or function mode.
Child Safety Device or Lock oper‐
ates.
There is no cookware on the zone.
The cookware is unsuitable.
The diameter of the bottom of the
cookware is too small for the zone.
FlexiBridge operates. One or more
sections of the function mode which
operates are not covered by the
cookware.
PowerSlide operates. Two pots are
placed on the flexible induction
cooking area.
There is an error in the hob.
The electrical connection is incor‐
rect.
Remedy
Let the zone become sufficiently
cool.
The highest heat setting has the
same power as the function.
Refer to "Daily use".
Put large cookware on the rear
zones if possible.
Activate the sounds. Refer to "Daily
use".
Place the cookware in the correct
position on the flexible induction
cooking area. The position of the
cookware depends on the activated
function or function mode. Refer to
"Flexible induction cooking area".
Use cookware with a diameter appli‐
cable to the activated function or
function mode. Use cookware with a
diameter smaller than 160 mm on a
single section of the flexible induc‐
tion cooking area. Refer to "Flexible
induction cooking area".
Refer to "Daily use".
Put cookware on the zone.
Use suitable cookware. Refer to
"Hints and tips".
Use cookware with correct dimen‐
sions. Refer to "Technical data".
Place the cookware on the correct
number of sections of the function
mode which operates or change the
function mode. Refer to "Flexible in‐
duction cooking area".
Use only one pot. Refer to "Flexible
induction cooking area".
Deactivate the hob and activate it
again after 30 seconds. If
on again, disconnect the hob from
the electrical supply. After 30 sec‐
onds, connect the hob again. If the
problem continues, speak to an Au‐
thorised Service Centre.
Disconnect the hob from the electri‐
cal supply. Ask a qualified electri‐
cian to check the installation.
