  11. SNOOZE / LIGHT Turned on the backlight for 5 sec. Stops the alarm tone and changed to snooze mode

During initial installation, the unit may take up to an hour or more to acclimatise to current conditions. It is recommended to put the main unit in the room where it will be used at least 1 hour prior to initial installation.

STARTING UP

  • After inserting the batteries, the station is now connecting to the thermo sensor. This process takes about 3 minutes. Then the display shows the outdoor temperature and humidity. In case of failure of reception, pls press"RESET" (I) to receive again.
  • The weather station is capable of receiving up to 3 different channels. Select the channel number (1, 2, or 3) by pushing the "CHANNEL" (J) switch. The weather station will scan the 3 channels automatically.
  • Select the channel number (1, 2, or 3) by pressing the "▲" (A) button on weather station.
  • Please observe a minimal distance of 2.5m to sources of interference such as televisions or computer screens.

MANUAL SET-UP

(The clock automatically changes from set-up mode to time display mode if no keys are pressed for 30 seconds.)

Set time and date

  • Press and hold key "TIME" for approx. 3 seconds. The display for the year is flashing
  • Use " ▲" and " ▼" to select.
  • Press "TIME" to confirm. The display for the month is flashing.
  • Use " ▲" and " ▼" to select.
  • Press "TIME" to confirm. The display for the day is flashing
  • Use " ▲" and " ▼" to select.
  • Press "TIME" to confirm. The display for the hour is flashing.
  • Use " ▲" and " ▼" to select.
  • Press "TIME" to confirm. The display for the minutes is flashing.
  • Use " ▲" and " ▼" to select.
  • Press "TIME" to confirm. The display for the secondes is flashing.
  • Use " ▲" and " ▼" to select.
  • Press "TIME" to confirm. The display for the language is flashing. „EN" = English
  • Use " ▲" and " ▼" to select.
  • Press "TIME" to confirm. The display for the time zone is flashing.
  • Use " ▲" and " ▼" to select.
  • Press "TIME" to confirm.

Alarm set-up

  • Press "TIME" The display shows AL 1 or AL 2
  • Press and hold the key "ALM" for approx. 3 seconds
    The hour of the alarm time is flashing.
  • Use " ▲" and " ▼" to select.
  • Press "ALM" to confirm. The minute of the alarm time is flashing.
  • Use " ▲" and " ▼" to select.
  • Press "ALM" to confirm. The temperature pre-alert „on / off" is shown
    If the temperature pre-alert is set to „on", the alarm tone sounds when the outside temperature -3°C (26°F) is reached.
  • Use " ▲" and " ▼" to select.
  • Press "ALM" to confirm.

Alarm on/off

  • Press "ALM"
    is displayed and activated
  • Press "ALM" again
    is displayed and activated
  • Press "ALM" again
    and is displayed and activated
  • Press „ALM" again to turn off the alarm
    To stop the alarm, press the key "ALM". Otherwise, the alarm switches off automatically after 2 minutes.

Snooze function

  • Press the key "SNOOZE/LIGHT", while the alarm sounds, to activate the snooze function. The alarm repeats after 5 minutes. The snooze function can be stopped by pressing key „ALM".

The weather station analyzes the weather patterns from the past 24 hours to determine the forecast for the next 24-72 hours. The weather forecast is only for reference and domestic use. Accuracy rate is about 70% to 75%.

The „snowy" weather indicator will be displayed, if the outdoor temperature will be -3°C (26°F).
