Zweckbestimmung
Bei diesem Medizinprodukt handelt es sich um eine Orthese zur
Ruhigstellung des Ellenbogengelenks mit Immobilisierung des proximalen
Radius-Ulnar-Gelenks.
Indikationen
Präoperativ, postoperativ, posttraumatisch, z. B. bei proximalem Sulcus ulnaris
Syndrom, deszendierender Tendopathie, Epicondylitis, nach Bursektomie
Kontraindikationen
Lymphabflussstörungen auch unklare Weichteilschwellungen körperfern
des angelegten Hilfsmittels, Empfindungs- und Durchblutungsstörungen
der versorgten Körperregion, Erkrankungen der Haut im versorgten
Körperabschnitt
Anwendungsrisiken / Wichtige Hinweise
Dieses Medizinprodukt ist ein verordnungsfähiges Produkt. Sprechen Sie
Anwendung und Dauer mit Ihrem verordnenden Arzt ab. Die Auswahl der
geeigneten Größe und eine Einweisung erfolgt durch das Fachpersonal, von
dem Sie das Medizinprodukt erhalten haben.
– Medizinprodukt vor radiologischen Untersuchungen ablegen
– bei längeren Ruhephasen nicht zu fest verschließen, z. B. beim Schlafen
– bei anhaltenden Beschwerden den Arzt oder Fachhandel aufsuchen
– Medizinprodukt indikationsgerecht einsetzen
– gleichzeitige Nutzung anderer Produkte nur nach Rücksprache mit Ihrem
Arzt
– keine Änderungen am Produkt vornehmen
– nicht auf offenen Wunden tragen
– nicht verwenden bei Unverträglichkeiten gegen eines der verwendeten
Materialien
– kein Wiedereinsatz – dieses Hilfsmittel ist zur Versorgung von nur einem
Patienten bestimmt
Anziehanleitung
Vor dem ersten Anlegen der BORT KubiFX lang light Ellenbogen-Orthese
müssen die beiden innenliegenden Aluminiumschienen von einer Fachkraft
entsprechend der gewünschten Gelenkstellung angeformt werden.
Im Anschluss die beiden Schrauben des Klemmverbinders mittels des
beigelegten Schraubenschlüssels lösen und die Orthesenlänge am Unterarm
durch Verschieben auf die individuelle Unterarmlänge des Patienten einstellen.
Schrauben wieder anziehen und Festigkeit der Schienen-Klemmverbindung
überprüfen. Anschließend die Fixierbänder bis zur Schlupfsperre durch
die Umlenkschlaufen führen und die Orthese am Arm anlegen: die
Ellenbogenspitze (Olecranon) muss in der eingearbeiteten Biegung (Kurvatur)
der Aluminiumschienen liegen und die Hand den Handgriff sicher umgreifen.
Die Fixierbänder der Orthese werden nun mit der gewünschten Spannung
verschlossen. Die beiden mittleren Gurtbänder kreuzen sich distal der
Ellbogen-Beuge im Bereich des Unterarms und verursachen somit keinen
ungewünschten Druck auf die dort befindlichen Nerven und Blutgefäße.

Intended purpose

This medical device is a brace for immobilisation of the elbow joint with
immobilisation of the proximal radial ulnar joint.

Indications

Pre-operative, post-operative, post-traumatic, e.g. in case of proximal
sulcus ulnaris syndrome, descending tendinopathy, epicondylitis, following
bursectomy.

Contraindications

Lymph drainage disorders, also unclear soft tissue swellings distal to the
aid positioned, sensory and circulatory disorders with the region of the body
treated, skin diseases in the part of the body treated.
Application risks / Important notes
This medical device is a prescribable product. Discuss the use and duration
with your treating physician. The expert staff from whom you have received
the medical device will select the appropriate size and instruct you regarding
its use.

– do not close it too tightly during longer periods of rest, e.g. when sleeping
– in case of persistent complaints, consult the physician or specialist retailer
– use the medical device in accordance with therapeutic needs
– only use other products simultaneously after consultation with your
physician

– do not wear it on open wounds
– do not use in case of intolerance of one of the materials used
– no re-use. This medical aid is intended for treating one patient only

Fitting instructions

Before putting the BORT KubiFX Long Light Elbow Brace on for the first time,
both internal aluminium splints must be formed by an expert in accordance
with the desired joint position.
Then the two clamp screws must be loosened with the wrench provided and
the brace length on the lower arm set to the patient's individual lower arm
length by shifting it.
Retighten the screws and check the sturdiness of the splint-clamp
connection. Following this, direct the straps through the guide loops up to
the anti-slip lock and fit the brace to the arm: the tip of the elbow (olecranon)
must lie in the aluminium splints' integrated bend (curvature) and the hand
securely grasp the handle.
The brace's fixing straps are then closed with the desired tension. Both middle

Utilisation prévue

Indications

Contre-indications
Troubles de la circulation lymphatique y compris tuméfaction des tissus mous
d'origine inconnue de l'aide posée, troubles de sensation et de la circulation
sanguine des régions corporelles traitées, maladies cutanées sur les zones
traitées.

bei sach- und anwendungsgemäßem Umgang bestimmt.

Removal

To remove the product, loosen the belt straps and take the brace off the arm.

Hand-washing
Do not dry in a tumble dryer
Do not use fabric conditioner. Close the Velcro fastening to avoid damage to
other laundry items. Stretch back into shape and dry in the fresh air.

Guarantee

claim. If the enclosed instructions for use have not been properly observed,

Useful life / Lifetime of the product
The lifetime of the medical device is determined by its natural wear and tear if
treated appropriately and as recommended.

Instruction d'application
Avant la pose de BORT KubiFX Orthèse longue light pour le coude, les deux
baleines en aluminium internes doivent être formées par un spécialiste selon
la position de fléchissement souhaitée.
Ensuite, desserrer les deux vis du raccord de serrage au moyen de la clé
fournie et régler la longueur de l'orthèse à l'avant-bras en la déplaçant sur la
longueur de l'avant-bras du patient.
Reserrer les vis et contrôler la résistance du raccord de serrage des baleines.
Ensuite, faire passer les bandes de fixation jusqu'au système de blocage en
passant par les boucles de renvoi et poser l'orthèse au bras : la pointe du
coude (olécrane) doit se trouver dans le fléchissement intégré (courbure) des
baleines en aluminium et saisir fermement avec la main.
