Making a call from Phonebook
You can store phone numbers that you use
regularly on the SIM card or in the phone's memory.
These entries are collectively called Phonebook.
Once you have stored a number in Phonebook, you
can dial it by pressing a few keys. You can also
assign your most frequently-used numbers to
number keys using the Speed Dial feature.
For further details about the Phonebook feature,
see page 34.

Voice dialling

Once you have stored a phone number in
Phonebook, you can dial it simply by saying the
associated name.
To help the phone to recognise voice commands
correctly, you can change the settings for the
VoiceSignal feature. For further details, see
page 169.
1. In Idle mode, press the Down key.
2. Say Name dial.
3. Say a name stored in Phonebook.
The phone displays the 3 best results and
prompts you with the phrase, "Did you say...,"
followed by the first name on the list.
4. Say "Yes" to confirm the name or "No" to hear
the next name, or use the number keypad to
select the correct name from the list.
Note: You can also say "Cancel" to stop voice
dialling, or "Repeat" to say a name again.
