DIMMER –
Dim the display for better viewing
in a darkened room
Press [DIMMER] on the remote control.
Adjusting the brightness of the display
Choose a level between 1 (dim) and 5 (bright).
The factory setting is LEVEL 2.
1 1 Press and hold [A] and [B] at the same time to
enter the setting mode.
2 2 Press [A] to select "DIMMER".
3 3 Turn [INPUT SELECTOR] to select "LEVEL 1",
"LEVEL 2", "LEVEL 3", "LEVEL 4" or "LEVEL 5".
The brightness changes to show the level.
4 4 Press and hold [A] and [B] at the same time to
exit the setting mode.
DR COMP –
Dynamic range compression
Change this setting to listen to software recorded with Dolby Digital
at low volume (such as late at night) and maintain audio clarity. It
reduces the peak level in loud scenes without affecting the sound
field.
OFF: The software is played with the original dynamic range
(factory setting).
STANDARD: The level recommended by the producer of the
software for household viewing.
MAX: The maximum allowable compression (recommended for
night viewing).
1 1 Press and hold [A] and [B] at the same time to
enter the setting mode.
2 2 Press [A] to select "DR COMP".
3 3 Turn [INPUT SELECTOR] to select "OFF",
"STANDARD" or "MAX".
4 4 Press and hold [A] and [B] at the same time to
exit the setting mode.
A/D ATT –
turn the A/D attenuator on if
"OVER" lights frequently when using 2-channel
analogue input
The factory setting is OFF.
1 1 Press and hold [A] and [B] at the same time to
enter the setting mode.
2 2 Press [A] to select "A/D ATT".
3 3 Turn [INPUT SELECTOR] to select "OFF" or
"ON".
4 4 Press and hold [A] and [B] at the same time to
exit the setting mode.
Note
¡The setting affects all 2-channel analogue input.
¡You can raise the volume to a maximum of –10 dB while A/D
ATT is on.
