" is to decrease humidity setting value. The LED displayed humidity value is the humidity value measured by the sensor inside adding with calibration value. The fan will run to blow the moist airflow to humidor or cigar cabinet when the LED displayed humidity value is lower than humidity setting value. The fan will stop when the LED displayed humidity value is equal or higher than humidity setting value. Key "C" is for Calibration. You may adjust calibration value if you are sure the LED displayed humidity value is not accurate as another humidity meter on your hand. The factory default calibration value is zero You may click key "C", and you will see the calibration value displayed from LED, within approx. 3 seconds, to press Key "
" or "
" to increase or decrease the calibration value by 0.1 step in a range of -5.0 to +5.0. For example, if you are sure the displayed humidity value from the humidifier is 2%RH higher than the humidity value measured by a high accurate humidity meter, you may set calibration data as -2.0 , and then the displayed humidity value on the humidifier will be measured humidity value plus with the calibration data -2.0. The setting value will not be lost even the humidifier be power off or re-power on.
There are two alarms for internal fan error and lack of water. LED will display " " and buzzer will alarm to indicate "Fan error" issue in case of internal fan is failed. LED will display "
" and buzzer will alarm to indicate "Lack of water" issue in case of the measured humidity value is 10%RH at least lower than humidity setting value for one hour at least that mostly is caused by lack of water. Alarm "Lack of water" could be happened in case of the size of your humidor or cigar cabinet exceeds the capability of the humidifier or the humidor/cigar cabinet is not sealed well.
