Headset Functions

  1. Power ON your headset:
    Press and Hold the Function for about 3 seconds until the blue indicator flashes four times. After powering on, your headset should automatically connect to your last used phone if it is in operating range. If no paired phone is in range or no phone has been paired, the "N500" will enter Standby mode.
  2. Power OFF your headset:
    Press and Hold the Function for about 3 seconds until the red indicator flashes twice.
  3. To Answer or End a call:
    Press the Function once when there is an incoming call to Answer.
    Press the Function once again to end the call.
  4. To Reject* a call:
    Press and Hold the Function for about 2 seconds when there is an incoming call.
  5. To Redial* the last call:
    Press and Hold the Volume Up Button for about 3 seconds and then release.
  6. To activate Voice Dialing*:
    while connected to your phone, Press the Function once. Voice commands must have been previously recorded into your phone (see your phones user guide)
  7. To adjust the Volume:
    Click the Volume Up or Volume Down Button during a call. Adjust to the desired level. The volume level you set to will be remembered by the NoiseHush "N500" and used on the next call.

*To use these functions, your phone/device must support the Bluetooth Handsfree Profile.

LED indicator chart

Power on Blue indicator blinks 4 times
Power off Red indicator blinks 4 times
Standby mode Blue indicator blinks once every 2 seconds
Sni mode Blue indicator rapidly blinks twice every 10 seconds
Pairing mode Red & Blue indicators alternately blink
Active call Blue indicator rapidly blinks 2 times every 8 seconds
Low battery All Blue indicators will change to Red
Charging Red indicator is continuously ON steady on
Charging complete Red indicator turns OFF

warning Note: Sniff mode means your headset has a connection with your phone but is conserving power, and will wake up when any function is activated.

NoiseHush "N500" Bluetooth headset with your cell phone. Pairing will create a stored connection in the headset and your Bluetooth cell phone. Pairing has to be done only once, when first connecting to a phone.

Charging the Headset:
Before you start, charge your "N500" unit by plugging the USB Charger into the USB port on your computer then plug the other end into the headset. The Red LED indicator will light up showing that the unit is being charged. When charging is complete the Red LED indicators will turn off.

Pairing the Headset:

  1. First turn the phone OFF and then back ON again to refresh its memory.
  2. Bring the mobile phone to about 30cm from NoiseHush "N500" headset.
  3. Find the Bluetooth menu in your mobile phone. Turn Bluetooth ON. (Check your mobile phone user guide)
  4. With the NoiseHush headset OFF, Press and Hold the function button for about 6 seconds until the LED flashes blue to red.
  5. Your headset is now ready to be discovered by your Bluetooth mobile phone.
  6. Perform a Bluetooth device discovery on your mobile phone to add a new device. It takes a few seconds to search for and find other Bluetooth devices around you.
  7. When Bluetooth devices are found, the phone will display NoiseHush "N500". Scroll to it and press OK to onfirm that you want to pair with it.
  8. Enter the Passkey "0000" when your phone prompts you. The First turn the phone OFF and then back ON again to refresh its phone will now pair with the headset. memory.
  9. If your Bluetooth phone menu supports it "set as authorized" or Bring the mobile phone to about 30cm from NoiseHush "NH26" "add to trusted devices"
  10. Again select the NoiseHush "N500" to connect with it. OR, Press the Function to connect with the phone.
  11. If the pairing is not successful, the Headset will return to the standby mode after a while, please repeat the pairing process to try the pairing again.
  12. Refer to your phones User Manual for any additional steps

warning Note: To conserve battery, NoiseHush "N500" will automatically turn off if it's not paired with your phone.
