Installation and Set-Up

• Place the power supply on a hard, non-flammable base and allow for sufficient cooling and air
circulation. Never build in the power supply.
• Place the cooling- / heating unit on a suitable and flat base and assure sufficient cooling and air ventilation.
• Connect the output plug of the power supply to the input plugs of the cooling- / heating unit. For safety
reasons, it`s impossible to change the polarity of the output plug.
• Connect the power cord to the power supply.
• Connect the power plug to 220-240V~50/60Hz mains socket with ground protection. After connecting to the
main socket, the red LED on the power adapter will illuminate to indicate the normal function.
Important: Please connect the cooling- / heating unit first. After that connect the plug to the main socket.
• During cooling process the fan produces heat. Please assure not to place any food in warm exhaust air below
or at the short sides of the appliance.
• Do not place the cooling- / heating unit close to any lamps or sources of heat or under direct sunlight as
otherwise the required cooling temperature cannot be reached and it might lead to damages of the appliance.
3.2 Build-In the appliance (solely item number 64 8926 95 11)
Always ensure sufficient ventilation.
The scope of delivery contains 1 meter (approx.) flexible tube, 2 adapters and 2 clamps.
• Cut the required number of openings in the countertop according to the technical datas and build in the
appliance at the same level or slightly higher than the counter top. Close the gap between the cooling- / heating
unit and the countertop with a sufficiently heat-resistant silicone sealant (-5°C to +120°C). Assure that the
appliance is installed horizontally.
• Please fix one of the adapters on the bottom side of the cooling- / heating unit near the fan. Remove both
screws and clamp the fixing points of the adapters below. Then tighten the screws finger-tight.
• Now you can mount the hose on the adapter. Before you do that, you should slip a clamp over the hose,
because you need to fix the tube on the adapter while seizing the screws.
• In the lower range of the counter (near the ground floor) you should cut an opening (circular cut-out) with the
diameter of the air duct.
• Then you can fix the second adapter inside the counter with 2 screws.
• The hose should be connected with the adapter like described before.
• The operating element with the switch can be fixed according to local build-in- situation. For this please cut an
according opening into the counter top.
• Then follow chapter "Installation and Set Up".
