VALUE CHECKING

G Coil block resistance
3.6 KΩ ~ 4.0 KΩ
M easuring the coil block resistance
1.
M easure the resistance w ith the coil block installed on the m ain plate.
2.
Apply the red and black probes of the tester to the patterns of the coil lead term inal. While doing so,
take care not to touch the end portion of the coil lead term inal, as this w ill break the coil w ire.
G Current consumption
For the w hole m ovem ent :
For the circuit block alone :
M easuring the current consumption for the w hole movement
1.
Check that the crow n is in the norm al (pushed in) position.
2.
Apply the red and black probes of the tester to the circuit block cover and the pattern of the (–) terminal
of the circuit block, respectively.
3.
After connecting the tester, contact the " AC" term inal of the circuit block and the circuit block cover
w ith conductive tw eezers. Then, after approxim ately 20 seconds, start m easurem ent, checking that
a stable m easurem ent is obtained.
M easuring the current consumption for the circuit block alone
1.
Connect the tester to the input term inals (+) and (–), and contact the " AC" and (+) term inals w ith
conductive tw eezers. Then, after approxim ately 10 seconds, start the m easurem ent, checking that
a stable m easurem ent is obtained.
* While m easuring current consum ption, be sure to protect the circuit block from light w ith black
cloth or the like, as the light m ay increase the current consum ption, resulting in an inaccurate
m easurem ent.
Note: When the current consum ption for the w hole m ovem ent exceeds the standard value w hile the
current consum ption for the circuit block alone is w ithin the standard value range, a driving pulse
m ay be generated to com pensate for the heavy load applied on the gear train, etc. In that case,
overhaul and clean the m ovem ent parts, and then, m easure the current consum ption for the w hole
m ovem ent again.
