Press On button once to turn on the scale.
Press and hold On button for 1-second to reset the scale to zero. (ZERO symbol will show in the display)
Press and hold On button for 3 sec to shut off the scale.
Press Unit button to change the unit on the scale.
The sequence for the scales' unit shows as: g (gram), oz (ounce), ct (carat), dwt (penny weight) or ozt (troy ounce)
Place an empty container on the scale. After the reading is stable, press Tare button for 2-seconds to go into tare mode. The LCD will display Tare and Net symbols, and the reading becomes zero. In this situation the Zero symbol "0" will not be displayed.
Press pcs button for 2-seconds to set the sample pieces.
DISPLAY FLASHES S=10, S=20, or S=50 depending on the number of sample pieces set. Choose the desired number of sample pieces by pressing pcs button. The display sequence shows as the following: 10>20>50>10. Stop pressing when the display shows your desired sample pieces. Leave selected number on the scale for 2-seconds for the sample pieces to be set as the default.
After an object is placed on the scale, the objects weight will be displayed. Buzzer will sound when the result is stable. After buzzer has sounded, the object can be removed from the scale and the result will stay on the display for 5-seconds.
The scale will automatically turn off after 3 minutes to save energy.
Low battery symbol will show on the display if the battery is low.
Battery Requirement: 2 x CR2032 batteries (included).
When the scale does not respond, remove, and reinstall the batteries to reset scale.
If the zero point is not stable, "UNST" will be displayed. The Total weight on the scales is 300 grams. If the scale exceeds its capacity, then "EEEE" will display.
