Before you start using it

    Risk of injury:
  • Do not stand on the scale with wet feet and especially not when the surface of the scale is wet. There is a dangerous risk of slipping.
  • Do not step on the edge of the scale: Danger of tilting!
  • Keep the product and the battery out of the reach of children.
  • Batteries must not be thrown into a fire, short-circuited, taken apart or recharged. Risk of explosion!
  • Batteries contain harmful acids. Low batteries should be changed as soon as possible to prevent damage caused by leaking.
  • Batteries can be fatal if swallowed. If a battery has been swallowed, get medical assistance immediately.
  • Wear chemical-resistant protective gloves and safety glasses when handling leaking batteries.

  • Do not place your product near extreme temperatures, vibrations or shocks.
  • Do not place any objects on the unit.
  • Protect it from humidity.

Set up and operation

  • Open the battery compartment at the back and remove the insulation strip. Close the battery compartment again.
  • All LCD segments will light up. "0.0 kg" (default: kg) appears on the display.
  • Your scale is now ready to use.
  • Press the UNIT button at the back and select your desired weight unit.
  • Place the scale on a flat solid surface.
  • In order to switch on the scale, just stand on the platform.
  • The backlight turns on.
  • After a few seconds your measured weight will be displayed in kg (default) or in the weighting unit you have set.
  • The measuring process is finished as soon as your weight flashes on the display.
  • The weight remains on the display after leaving the scale.
  • The scale will turn off automatically after 10 seconds.

Setting of the weight unit

  • At the back of the scale you will find the UNIT button to convert the weight unit. You can select between "kg" for Kilogram, "lb" for British and American pound (1 pound = 453,59237 Gram) and "st" for British Stone (1 st = 6,35 kg).

Use of the scale

  • If possible, always weigh yourself at the same time of day (ideally in the morning), after going to the toilet, on an empty stomach and without clothes to achieve comparable results.
  • Using the device the first time and after replacing the battery it is absolutely necessary to adjust the balance.
  • To terminate the adjusting repeat the weighing process three times.
  • Then the balance will show you the correct weight after each further use.

Care and maintenance

  • Clean your instrument with a soft damp cloth. Do not use solvents or scouring agents.
  • Remove the battery if you do not use it for a long period of time.
  • Keep your scale in a dry place.

Troubleshooting

Problems Solution
No indication

➜ Stand on the platform
➜ Ensure that the battery polarity is correct (+ pole above)
➜ Change battery
Indication "Err" ➜ Overload (max. 150 kg)
Indication "Lo" ➜ Change battery
Incorrect display ➜ Change battery

If your device fails to work despite these measures contact the supplier from whom you purchased it.

Waste disposal

Never dispose of empty and rechargeable batteries in household waste.

As a consumer, you are legally required to take them to your retail store or to an appropriate collection site depending on national or local regulations in order to protect the environment.

This instrument is labelled in accordance with the EU Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE).

Please do not dispose of this instrument in household waste. The user is obligated to take end-of-life devices to a designated collection point for the disposal of electrical and electronic equipment, in order to ensure environmentally-compatible disposal.
