10. Place an oil drain pan and shop towels beneath the oil filter.
11. Using an oil filter wrench (available from your POLARIS dealer), turn the filter
counter-clockwise to remove it.
12. Using a clean dry cloth, clean the filter sealing surface on the crankcase.
13. Lubricate the o-ring on the new filter with a film of fresh engine oil. Check to
make sure the o-ring is in good condition.
14. Install the new filter and rotate it clockwise by hand until the filter gasket
contacts the sealing surface, then turn it an additional 3/4 turn.
15. Remove the engine access panel on the right side of the vehicle.
16. Remove the dipstick. Add the Polaris recommended lubricant as necessary
to bring the oil level within the SAFE range on the dipstick. DO NOT overfill.
