- Page 4 Preparing Your UPWalker I100KD For Use Insert the finger bolts (Fig 4) and tighten by hand until the bolt is seated against the aluminum and the frame is secure (firm/solid) without movement (Fig 5 both sides). C. Lift up the front portion of the UPWalker frame and insert the front fork/wheels until a click is heard and wheels sit firmly against the frame (Fig 6).

Using Brakes / Parking Brakes To apply the brakes while walking with the UPWalker Lite, pull both brake handles evenly toward you (Figure 12). To set the parking brakes, while using one hand to hold the handgrip use the other hand to push the brake handle forward until it clicks in locked position (Figure 13). - Page 12 Adjusting Brakes (contd.) If the brakes are too loose, use your fingers or pliers to turn the barrel adjuster nut counterclockwise a half rotation at a time until the brake functions as expected.
