Connection to pump
The burner leaves the factory with the bypass inside the pump closed (ref. 7 - fig. 4a and 4b), i.e. the burner
is arranged for two-pipe connection. Remove the caps (ref. 8) and connect the two hoses to the pump,
in suction (ref. 1) and return (ref. 2) as shown in fig. 4a and fig. 4b, taking care not to twist the hoses, and
position them so that they cannot be stepped on or come in contact with hot parts of the boiler.
To use the bypass inside the pump for single-pipe connections:
with SUNTEC pump (see fig. 4a) - remove the bypass screw (ref. 7) and close the return union (item 2)
on the pump with a suitable cap. Connect only the suction hose to the inlet union (ref.1).
with DANFOSS pump (see fig. 4b) - unscrew the cap (ref. 9), remove the bypass screw (ref. 7) and close
again with the cap (ref.9). Connect only the suction hose to the inlet union (ref.1). Unscrew the cap (8)
from the return union (ref. 2) and close the union on the pump with a suitable cap.
If the pump is operated with return closed and bypass screw inserted, it will become permanently
damaged.
