Installing the Mini PCI Card
1.
To install the Mini PCI card, match the notched part of the Mini PCI card with the socket's projected
part, and firmly insert the Mini PCI card into the socket at a 20-degree angle. Then push down until
the retaining clips lock the Mini PCI card into position.
2.
Connect the antenna cable to the "Main" antenna connector on the Mini PCI card.
3. Replace the cover and secure with the six screws.
NOTE: Your Mini PCI card may differ from the one shown above.
Installing the CPU
1. Follow the steps described earlier to access the heat sink.
2. Before removing the heat sink, make sure that the antenna cable taped on top of the heat sink has been
placed aside. Otherwise, the cable might be damaged.
3.
Remove the four screws securing the heat sink and remove the heat sink by placing it aside. There
is no need to disconnect the fan's power cord from the system board.
NOTE: When detaching the four screws securing the heat sink, make sure that you remove them in a
Diagonal direction: first detach the screw 1 and screw 2, then the screw 3 and screw 4. This is to
prevent your heat sink from damage.
