Quick Facts (qla and qlc Drivers)

The qlc driver is a native Fibre Channel (FC) driver
for the Sun Leadville stack. This driver works with
both Sun and QLogic branded HBAs.
•
The qla driver is a SCSI-to-FC emulation driver (an
"sd" attached driver), and attaches only to QLogic
branded HBAs
•
A qla driver installed on a system that already has
a qlc driver installed will only attach to QLogic
branded HBAs, leaving Sun branded HBAs to the qlc
driver
•
Topology support includes Point-To-Point F_port,
FL_port, N_port, and Arbitrated Loop
•
Protocol support includes SCSI-FC, FC-IP, and FC-
Tape

MSI-X enabled for 4/8Gb HBAs
