4. Retract the center or side stand. Hold
the motorcycle vertically and inspect the
engine oil level through the engine oil
level inspection window on the right side
of the engine.

NOTICE
Operating the motorcycle with too little
or too much oil can damage the engine.
Place the motorcycle on level ground.
Check the oil level with the engine oil
inspection window before each use of
the vehicle. Be sure the engine oil level
is always above the "L" (low) line and not
higher than the "F" (full) line.
