MAINTENANCE
Your motor home has been engineered with
the latest technology to provide you with many years of
trouble-free service with a minimum amount of maintenance .
This section is provided
to
familiarize you with the areas of
your motor home that require scheduled care. A few minutes
spent taking care of your motor home on a regular basis will
pay for itself in more pleasurable outings and will protect your
investment.

The chassis operator's manual provided in your Owner's
Information Kit describes in detail maintenance operations
required by the truck chassis manufacturer. Please consult
this doclj!l1ent for infonnation regarding lubrication schedules,
tire infonnation, and other chassis-related maintenance items.
INTERIOR CLEANING
Draperies, Cushions, and Upholstery Fabrics
The furniture and decor of your motor home use materials
and fabrics, often synthetics, 'which require only the simplest
care.
Fabric Cleaning Information
Curtains: Dry clean only.
Wall Paneling
The paneling and the ceifing of your motor home may be
any of several finishes and textures. Never use strong deter-
gents or abrasive cleaners on walls or ceilings. Most surfaces
will clean with a soft cloth which has been dampened with
mild liquid detergent in wann water; avoid the use of large
amounts of water. Many panel suppliers suggest that one of
the aerosol products designed for cleaning and preserving
wood surfaces may be used in accoJdance with manufacturer's
instructions.

Carpeting
Vacuum caI'Peting regularly, and clean it with a quality
carpet cleaner.
Fixtures
Clean sinks, baths, showers or other fiberglass fixtures-with
warm water and mild detergent or special cleaners. Harsh
abrasives may scratch of discolor the surface, causing it to
have to be refinished or replaced. Do not use ammonia or
any cleaner containing ammonia on fiberglass. If a fiberglass
surface becomes chipped or scratched, it can ofter be repair-
ed successfully by your local serviceman. Minor repair kits
available in a variety of colors and finishes available at most
hardware or paint stores.
