Caution when using the touch
function
When using the touch function, please take
note of the following points.
• When touching the liquid crystal display, please
do not press down strongly.
• Please do not scratch the surface of the display
or use a pointed object to jab it.
• Please do not operate the display with wet
hands or dirty fingers.

When touching the liquid crystal display,
please do not press down strongly or
use sharp objects to jab it. Doing so
might cause the computer to tilt over or
damage the liquid crystal display.
The response of the touch function may
slow down if dirt or sebum is attached to
the liquid crystal display so please clean
the display occasionally.
Caution when tou ching the liquid crystal displ
ay with fingers. The liquid crystal display cannot
be operated with fingernails or when the user is
wearing gloves. When using the fingers to touch
the display, ensure that a portion of the skin of
the fingers are in contact with the display.
Using Your LIFEBOOK
Use of the touch function
We shall explain the main operations which
used touch function here.
Same operation as the mouse.
Tablet pen can also be used. The operation
explained here can also be executed with an
auxiliary pen. For instructions on use of pen,
refer to "Using the pen".
Click (Tap)
Lightly tap once on the screen. This is known as
the tap.
Double click (Double Tap)
Tap twice in a row on the liquid crystal display.
