Changing the Engine Oil and Oil Filter
Service Interval: After the first 5 hours/After the first
Every 100 hours/Yearly (whichever comes
first)—Change the engine oil (more often in dusty,
dirty conditions).
Every 100 hours/Yearly (whichever comes
first)—Change the oil filter (more often in dusty, dirty
conditions).
Note: Change the engine-oil filter more frequently when
operating conditions are extremely dusty or sandy.
Note: Dispose of the used oil at a recycling center.
1. Park the machine on a level surface to ensure that the
oil drains completely.
2. Disengage the PTO and ensure that the parking brake
is engaged.
3. Shut off the engine, remove the key, and wait for all
moving parts to stop before leaving the operating
position.
4. Drain the engine oil.
