If the clamping surfaces were treated with carbon assembly paste, then apply a thin layer of it again. ( 3 ) MONTAGEVORBEREITUNG Reinige den Klemmbereich des Lenkers und der neuen Lenkerklemmplatte. - Page 6 ( 4 ) HOOK IN THE HANDLEBAR CLAMPING PLATE Position the handlebar in the correct place for mounting. Then take the handlebar clamping plate and hook it onto the top of the stem. Press the handlebar clamping plate down over the handlebar. You should feel resistance and hear the plate snap into place when you push it down. ( 4 ) LENKERKLEMMPLATTE EINHÄNGEN Positioniere jetzt den Lenker an der korrekten Stelle für die Montage.
- Page 7 ( 5 ) CLAMP HANDLEBAR Insert both screws through the handlebar clamping plate and tighten them one after the other to 5 Nm. Please note that the specifications on the handlebar may differ. Optimum clamping is achieved with 5 Newton metres. If the specifications on the handlebar allow more, you can also tighten the screws with this torque.
