I f required, we recommend that you have the door hinges
changed over by our customer service team. You can find
out the cost of changing over the door hinges from your
responsible customer service team.
Before you call customer service, please check whether
you can correct the fault yourself. ~ "Faults – what to

After checking according to the chapter, additional help
can be requested by calling the Gaggenau Customer
Interaction Center, 1-877-442-4436 (free-of-charge), from
anywhere in the USA.

You can set the temperature in the cool-fresh compart-
ment to anywhere between+37°F and +27°F
(+3°C and –3°C). The temperature in the cool-fresh
compartment is set to +32°F (0°C) by default.

Press and hold Û refrigerator compartment button
until the refrigerator compartment temperature dis-
play flashes.
Press –/+ refrigerator compartment button to

change the setting.
The set temperature is saved after one minute.

Appliance self-test

Your appliance features a self-test program which
displays the fault your customer service can rectify.
1.
Switch off the appliance and wait 5 minutes.
2.
Switch the appliance on.
3.
Within the first 10 seconds press and hold freezer
compartment ì button for 3 ... 5 seconds until an
audible signal sounds.
The self-test program starts. While the self-test is
running, a long audible signal sounds in the
meantime.
If 2 audible signals sound after the end of the self-test
and the set temperature is displayed, your appliance is
OK.
If at the end of the self-test 5 audible signals sound
and the freezer compartment ì button flashes for
10 seconds, inform customer service.
When the program has ended, the appliance switches
over to normal operation.
