Fitting and Detaching the Knife Block
1. Turn the mixing jar on its head.
2. With a little effort, turn the screw cap counterclockwise.
3. Carefully remove the screw cap with the knife block from
the mixing jar.
4. Remove the seal ring for cleaning.
5. After drying, put the sealing ring back in the screw cap.
6. Tighten the screw cap with the knife block clockwise
again.
7. Make sure that the screw cap is firmly in place.
CAUTION:
Only operate the appliance if you have properly fitted the
knife block with the seal ring! Otherwise the mixing jar will
not be sealed.

Use a little dishwashing liquid and clean these components
in warm rinsing water. Then dry everything before assem-
bling the parts again.

Only a moderately moist cloth should be used for cleaning
the outside of the appliance.

original packaging, if you do not want to use it for a
longer period.

Troubleshooting

1. Immediately turn the switch to the position O. Discon-
nect the mains plug from the wall socket.
2. Let the appliance cool down for at least 15 minutes
before switching it on again.
