    ® Presto Preparations 5.1. Installation The Presto ® temperature systems may be placed on or underneath a lab bench. • Place the unit on an even surface on a base made of nonflammable material. Lift the handle (6) and using the castor (19) move the unit to the intended location.

    ® Presto Important: Leakage on shaft sealing The shaft sealings of the pump are never absolutely tight. But this does not have an impact on the proper functioning of the instrument. The slight leakage that appears ensures good sliding properties of the sealing. Any excess fluid is drained via the overflow connector (15).

    Clean the outside of the unit using a wet cloth and low surface tension water (e.g., soap suds). Before applying a cleaning or decontamination method different from the one recommended by JULABO, the user has to make sure with the manufacturer, that the planned method does not damage the unit. Cleaning the inside: If you change the bath liquid or want to use a different one, carefully clean the parts in contact with the bath liquid.
