WIRING DIAGRAM System Configuration: PRE-INSTALLATION Before you begin Thank you for purchasing Grand Canyon Gas Log’s Bedrock Traditional Burner with Glowfire™ Logs. This product has been designed to provide you with safe, trouble-free operation. Please read this manual throughly before beginning the installation. It has information which is important for safe installation and operation. Please inspect your shipment for completeness and any damage. - Page 11 PRE-INSTALLATION 4. Check all joints of gas supply piping system. Apply noncorrosive leak detection fluid to all joints. Bubbles forming show a leak. 5. Correct all leaks at once. 6. Reconnect appliance and equipment shutoff valve to gas supply. Check reconnected fittings for leaks. Test Pressures Equal To or Less Than 1/2 PSIG (3.5 kPa) 1. Close equipment shutoff valve (see Figure C).
- Page 12 PRE-INSTALLATION For Massachusetts Residents Only: Installation of this gas log set as a vented indoor appliance in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts requires the damper be permanently removed or welded in the fully open position. You must install the damper clamp accessory. This will ensure vented operation. The damper clamp will keep damper open. For minimum permanent flue opening you must provide.

INSTALLATION STEPS STEP 1 Place Bedrock burner in your fireplace centering the base front to back and side to side. Centering the base allows the deck to easily sit on the top of the base. OUTDOOR INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS Bedrock Traditional from Grand Canyon Gas Logs have been tested and approved for installation outdoors under a patio cover and away from direct water contact or direct sun light. Grand Canyon Gas Logs standard warranty applies if installed per instructions.
