PRECAUTIONS
- Refrain from opening the cabinet as there are sensitive, fragile components inside.
- Unplug the speakers power cord and disconnect them from your computer before cleaning. Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners. Use damp cloth for cleaning.
- Place the speakers on a flat surface to prevent them from falling.
- Your system should be situated away from heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves or other products (including amplifiers)
- Do not expose the speakers to fluids, such as chemicals, liquids or water
CHARACTERISTICS
- The speakers and the subwoofer are magnetically shielded and can therefore be placed next to the monitor without distorting the display.
- Position your speakers and subwoofer as illustrated in the diagram above.
- Place the subwoofer directly on the ground (for example, below your desktop) for better diffusion of low frequencies.
- For optimum sound effects, we recommend that you place the satellite speakers at ear-level.
- Compatible to CD/VCD, TV, AV, PC, DVD, MP3, etc.
- Space-saving and magnetically-shielded 6-piece system with subwoofer.
- With wall mounting hanger for your optional fixing on wall and saving your room space.
INSTALLATION
- Insert the black one of the RCA wire into the black jack of the speaker;
Insert the grey one of the RCA wire into the red jack of the speaker. - Turn off your computer or other audio sources.
- Connect your speakers to the following plugs on the subwoofer;
FL: front left speaker, FR: front right speaker, SL: rear left speaker, SR: rear right speaker, C: center speaker - Connect your subwoofer to your soundcard
FL, FR to the soundcard's FRONT SPEAKERS output, SL, SR: to the soundcard's REAR SPEAKERS output, C, SUB: to the soundcard's CENTER/SUBWOOFER output. If you connect your audio system to Dolby Prologic and AC-3 decoder featuring a G9 plug, just connect the G9 cable to the G9-IN plug on the subwoofer and the other end of the decoder. - Insert the power plug into an AC outlet.
OPERATIONS
- Check that the different volume controls (VOLUME, BASS) are set minimum level.
- Turn on your computer and speakers (py pressing the POWER button), a green LED will light up.
- Set the volume (using the VOLUME button), then set the bass intensity. turn the BASS button to its maximum setting then decrease it slowly until you are satisfied with the sound.
