    Before You Start Reverse mode If you do not perform an operation within about 30 seconds, screen indications start to reverse, and then continue reversing every 10 seconds. Pressing BAND when power to this unit is turned off while the ignition switch is set to ACC or ON cancels the reverse mode.

    Section Built-in CD Player Scanning tracks of a CD Scan play lets you hear the first 10 seconds of each track on the CD. Use MULTI-CONTROL to select Scan mode. Scan mode appears in the display. Press MULTI-CONTROL to turn scan play The first 10 seconds of each track is played.

    Built-in CD Player # If a disc contains less than 10 tracks, pushing and holding MULTI-CONTROL left recalls the first track of the disc. When playing discs with MP3/WMA/AAC/ WAV files and audio data (CD-DA) such as CD-EXTRA and MIXED-MODE CDs, both types can be played only by switching mode be- tween MP3/WMA/AAC/WAV and CD-DA with BAND. ! If you have switched between playback of MP3/WMA/AAC/WAV files and audio data (CD-DA), playback starts at the first track on the disc.

    Section Multi-CD Player Note After entering the number input mode, if you do not perform an operation within about eight sec- onds, the mode is automatically canceled. 50-disc multi-CD player Only those functions described in this manual are supported by 50-disc multi-CD players. This unit is not designed to operate disc title list functions with a 50-disc multi-CD player.

    Multi-CD Player Notes ! When playing a CD TEXT disc on a CD TEXT compatible multi-CD player, you cannot switch to disc title input. The disc title will have already been recorded on a CD TEXT disc. ! If you do not operate the function within about 30 seconds, the display is automatically re- turned to the playback display.

Each time MULTI-CONTROL is pushed left or right, equalizer bands are selected in the fol- lowing order: 20—31.5—50—80—125—200—315—500— 800—1.25k—2k—3.15k—5k—8k—12.5k— 20k (Hz) Push MULTI-CONTROL up or down to adjust the level of the equalizer band.

    Section Audio Adjustments Auto TA and EQ (auto-time alignment and auto- equalizing) The auto-time alignment is automatically ad- justed for the distance between each speaker and the listening position. The auto-equalizer automatically measures the car interior acoustic characteristics, and then creates the auto-equalizer curve based on that information.
