1030 Memory module and memory module bracket

For access, remove this FRU:
• "1010 Base cover assembly" on page 64
Removal steps of the memory module and memory module bracket
Remove the memory module bracket as shown.
Open the latches on both sides of the memory module slot at the same time
module 2 .
When installing:
Insert the notched end of the memory module into the memory slot. Press the memory module in firmly, and
pivot it downward until it snaps into place. Ensure that the memory module is firmly installed in the slot and
does not move easily.

1040 M.2 solid-state drive

For access, remove this FRU:
• "1010 Base cover assembly" on page 64
Attention: The M.2 solid-state drive is sensitive. Inappropriate handling might cause damage and
permanent loss of data.
