    PRODUCT DESCRIPTION This passive infrared sensing system, connected to a 12V solenoid valve, is used to control urinal flushing. This product is especially well adapted for locations where there is heavy use, due to its capacity to conserve water. Its ceiling installation avoids problems with vandalism.

    INSTALLATION / CONNECTION Figure 1 Install the sensor on the flush feed line as shown in figure 2. Program the selected settings using the two jumpers and the coding wheel as shown on the table below. Connect the red and black wires to the Faston terminals on the solenoid valve.
  • Page 7 SETTINGS • In order to set the sensing distance, turn the potentiometer clockwise to increase the distance, and anti-clockwise to decrease it. • Pre-flushing is deactivated when the jumper used for this function (pre-flush) is set to the left (OFF) and active when it is set to the right (ON). In the latter case, the pre-fl ush time is equal to half the flush time.

    OPERATION • When a user enters the detection zone, the pre-flush is triggered (if activated) and the sensing system enters «Off set 1» mode. This means that a full flush will occur 30 seconds after the user leaves. • If a second user comes in during this 30-second period, the sensing system will again enter the «Off set 1»...
