    Cleaning the disc lens After prolonged use, dirt or dust may accumulate at the disc lens. To ensure good playback quality, clean the disc lens with Philips CD Lens Cleaner or any commercially available cleaner. Follow the instructions supplied with cleaner.
  • Page 22 Problem Recording or playback cannot be made. “CHK TAPE” is displayed. The tape deck door cannot open. The system does not react when buttons are pressed. Sound cannot be heard or is of poor quality. The left and right sound outputs are reversed.
  • Page 23 Philips will repair or replace the product, at its option, at no charge, or pay the labor charges to any Philips authorized repair facility. After the period of one (1) year, Philips will no longer be responsible for charges incurred.
