    Depending on the type of appliance, the batteries are either connected directly to the mains supply for charging, or via an external charger. The batteries may only be charged with safety extra-low voltage chargers. Only use chargers which are explicitly suitable for the batteries that are fitted and which are supplied by Columbus.
