Safety Notes

• The product is intended for private, non-commercial use only.
• The product is intended for indoor use only.
• Do not drop the product and do not expose it to any major shocks.
• Keep this product, as all electrical products, out of the reach of children!
• Do not modify the product in any way. Doing so voids the warranty.
• Dispose of packaging material immediately according to locally applicable regulations.

Danger of hearing loss due to alarm

Please note that when the alarm is triggered or when you are testing the device, the emitted signal tone generates high sound pressure that can quickly cause hearing loss. Make sure you are not in the immediate vicinity of the alarm speaker for more than 3 minutes during a test or when the alarm is triggered.

Note - Integral battery

The battery is integral and cannot be exchanged. When the battery runs out or the alarm has been triggered, dispose of the entire product in accordance with regulations.

Getting Started/Setup

Note

This product detects when water levels rise above a certain point and gives a warning to prevent possible water damage or flooding. This product does not protect against flooding or water damage. The product is only intended for use with rainwater or tap water. Other liquids may not trigger an alarm tone in certain circumstances and/or may damage the sensor. When the alarm is triggered, always check the cause of the alarm to detect possible hazards and prevent damage.

• We recommend setting up the product in rooms with devices connected to water lines (such as washing machines, dishwashers, or similar) or using it for mobile applications (such as in a boat or while camping).
• The product is ready to use and does not need to be switched on. Simply set the product next to a device connected to a water line or in another place threatened by water with its wide base on the floor (water leak alarm up).
• To ensure uninterrupted monitoring, replace the product with a new one once the lifespan given in the technical specifications has elapsed.
• After the alarm has been triggered, deactivate the product by opening the mesh on the bottom and removing it or folding it aside.
