Safety Notes
- The product is intended for private, non-commercial use only.
- Do not drop the product and do not expose it to any major shocks.
- Keep this product, as all electrical products, out of the reach of children!
- Do not modify the product in any way. Doing so voids the warranty.
- Dispose of packaging material immediately according to locally applicable regulations.

- Please note that when the alarm is triggered or when you are testing the device, the emitted signal tone generates high sound pressure that can quickly cause hearing loss.
- Make sure you are not in the immediate vicinity of the alarm speaker for more than 3 minutes during a test or when the alarm is triggered.
- During a test, cover the alarm speaker with your palm and/or cover your ears and those of persons in the vicinity to protect against hearing loss.

Product Features
- This product detects when water levels rise above a certain point and gives a warning to prevent possible water damage or flooding.
- This product does not protect against flooding or water damage.
- The product is only intended for use with rainwater or tap water. This product functions using the electrical conductivity of water.
Getting Started/Setup

- Immediately remove and dispose of dead batteries from the product.
- Only use batteries (or rechargeable batteries) that match the specified type.
- When inserting batteries, note the correct polarity (+ and - markings) and insert the batteries accordingly. Failure to do so could result in the batteries leaking or exploding.
- Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of a different type or make.
- Do not attempt to charge non-rechargeable batteries, as they may explode.
- Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
- Do not short circuit the batteries/rechargeable batteries and keep them away from uncoated metal objects.
- Never open, damage or swallow batteries or allow them to enter the environment. They can contain toxic, environmentally unfriendly heavy metals.
- Remove the batteries from products that are not being used for an extended period.

Insert the batteries
Open the housing and connect the 9-volt battery with the correct polarity, close the housing using a suitable tool.
Testing/replacing the batteries
- Touch the two sensors with two (slightly damp) fingers. The alarm is triggered.
- When the battery runs low, the water sensor alarm sounds only every 60 seconds. Replace the batteries immediately.
- Open the housing (1), remove and properly dispose of the empty battery, and insert a new 9-volt battery with the correct polarity. Then close the battery compartment cover.
Note – Proper function |
- Check the condition of the product and the battery regularly and no less than once per year.
- To ensure the device functions properly, replace the battery or batteries as soon as the battery charge is low.

Setup
We recommend setting up the product in rooms with devices connected to water lines (such as washing machines, dishwashers, or similar) or using it for mobile applications (such as in a boat or while camping).
Note |
- Other liquids than water may not trigger an alarm tone in certain circumstances and/or may damage the sensor.
- Ensure that the sensor contacts (3) do not touch any other conductive objects.
- If installing the alarm on a conductive object (e.g. metal), install a non-conductive layer (e.g. rubber) between the sensor contacts (3) and the mounting surface.
- When the alarm is triggered, always check the cause of the alarm to detect possible hazards and prevent damage.

Deactivating the alarm when triggered
- After the alarm has been triggered, deactivate it by lifting it up and drying off the sensor contacts.
- Should flooding occur and water (even a small amount) get into the product, dry it off, remove the battery and dispose of the product and the battery in accordance with regulations. Do not use the product again.
